What could this mean for SkyBet since Stars Group owns them?

Pokerstars is one of the stars group brand names and now Flutter own it, along with Skybetting and Gaming.

Pokerstars has over the last 2 years or so, morphed into a more speedy "grab your $$$" rinse and repeat process. The only real hope of "increasing" profit potential would be for the U.S. to allow a majority of their states to accept on line poker...not gonna happen anytime soon.

Companies like this merge as a form of protection/collaberation when there are difficult times ahead.

The shareholders on the Stars Group will benefit for sure.

I would love Canada to come back as NBA markets were badly hit when they left.

I remember when BFPP share price went up about 30% in a day a couple of months back, talk of a merger was denied, someone knew this was going to happen.
